Shawn Michaels provides an update on Blair Davenport.
Many fans have recently been curious about the status of Blair Davenport in WWE, who last competed on September 4, 2022 at the Worlds Collide premium live event. Before the brand was shut down in 2022, Blair Davenport was a big part of NXT UK.
On Thursday's NXT Battleground media call, Michaels was asked by Fightful's Ella Jay to provide a update on Davenport officially joining the ranks of NXT in the United States.
"I do know that there is interest obviously there, especially from the standpoint of Blair Davenport. Those are obviously decisions that she has to make when it comes to wanting to be here. I will say that, my feeling is, if she does make that decision, she would want to come and make a big impact. We would obviously be in favor of that as well. She is someone that we have reached out to. Whether she makes the determination that she wants to be part of NXT, hopefully we’ll have something on that in the very near future."
Before signing with WWE in June 2021, Davenport spent time in AEW and STARDOM under the ring name Bea Priestly.
