Shayna Baszler beats Ronda Rousey at her own game in an MMA Rules match at WWE SummerSlam 2023.
Both Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler put up their best effort in the MMA rules match. Baszler scored the first major happening with a roundhouse kick that sent Rousey flying from the ring. Rousey came back with a jumping knee that would crumble Baszler.
Rousey then appeared to be in control, as Shayna had officials come in to check on her following an armbar. However, in the end, Baszler was able to fight through the pain and render Ronda Rousey unconscious with a Rear Naked Chokehold, solidifying her victory.
