Rollins, Reigns and Ambrose ride off into the sunset as a trio.
The main event of the fifth installment of WWE's Fastlane pay-per-view was Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley teaming up against the reuniting Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns known as The Shield. After a back and forth bout between both squads, The Shield defeated the opposition in what was dubbed by commentary as their last ride together as a group.

The brothers in arms have different paths heading into WrestleMania as Seth Rollins will be clashing with "The Beast" Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at "The Show Of Shows". Roman's road to WrestleMania is foggy and Dean Ambrose is departing from the sports-entertainment company shortly after WrestleMania.
Bobby Lashley, who was on the losing end of the Fastlane main event, is taking on Finn Balor for the WWE Intercontinental Championship tomorrow night on RAW and also slated for tomorrow's show is a face-to-face showdown between Triple H and Batista.
