Cody Rhodes and Shinsuke Nakamura exchange heated words.
On the November 27 episode of WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes was blindsided by Shinsuke Nakamura in an attack that seemingly revealed that Rhodes was the subject of Nakamura's recent promos.
On the December 4 episode of the show, Rhodes took to the microphone and first told a story about how he first learned of the poision mist when he was a child because of The Great Muta.
Rhodes then blamed himself for not paying attention to the clues in Nakamura's promos before inviting him to the ring.
Nakamura appeared on the titantron and had many words of his own to say. Nakamura pointed out that Rhodes' path is similar to his own in 2018. Nakamura then noted that he never got to finish his story, so he will finish Rhodes' story instead.

Rhodes finished the segment that stating that he will never run from a fight, and that still doesn't respect Nakamura.
It is currently unknown if Rhodes and Nakamura will face off in the future. Fightful will update fans when more is known.
