Sienna, Mark Andrews Debate The Idea Of Wrestlers Paying For Their Own Flights

Friday saw the final push for Ring of Honor's 16th Anniversary show, but there was a friendly debate among Impact and WWE stars that created Twitter buzz.

205 Live's Mark Andrews responded to a tweet from Impact Wrestling's Sienna, who took a light shot at wrestlers who pay for their own international flights for bookings. Gail Kim would also get herself involved in the situation, among others.

Andrews and Sienna seemed to me making different points, with Andrews' being that it's okay to take a wash financially when you're attempting to make a name, while Sienna was against the idea of paying for your own flight to a booking for the reason that it would be a financial wash.

When Fightful.com reached out to several independent workers, one of the most in demand told us "They pay for it because I'm good at wrestling. Who the fuck pays for an international flight to work? That's crazy." When we reached out to a former WWE superstar, they told us that they leaned more towards Andrews' side of the argument, and that a lot of younger wrestlers pay their dues by covering their own trans before they get over. It was stressed that everyone's path is different, but the talent shouldn't be begrudged for doing what they have to in order to make it.

Several other wrestlers chimed in with their thoughts on the matter, as well.
