Spoiler: Former AEW Talent Makes IMPACT Debut At 7/2 Tapings

A former AEW talent has found their way to the IMPACT Zone.

On July 2, IMPACT Wrestling held its latest set of tapings from the Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, GA. According to Fightful's Skylar Russell, who is in attendance, Alan Angels made an appearance and competed in an X-Division Championship Match against 'Speedball' Mike Bailey.

'Speedball' would go on to defeat Angels, but both men were attacked by Deaner and Joe Doering after the bell.

In an interview with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp this past Wednesday, Angels confirmed that his contract with AEW expired on June 30, making him a free agent on July 1. Angels was signed to AEW following his bout with Kenny Omega in April 2020 and was dubbed "5" in the Dark Order.
