Spoiler warning.
The NXT UK Tag Team Championships have been up in the air as of late, and that trend continued during today's NXT UK TV Tapings. Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith, who were the champions headed into today's taping, were forced to vacate the titles due to an injury that Ashton Smith suffered. The headlining match of the taping was a four way tag match to determine a new set of champions.
Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs, who were actually set to challenge Carter and Smith for the belts during today's taping, went on to win the four way match, defeating Dave Mastiff & Jack Starz, Mark Andrews & Wild Boar and Die Familie to win the belts. Jensen and Briggs mainly wrestle on the NXT 2.0 brand in the United States, but they were some of the latest talent from that brand to travel over to NXT UK. In recent months, NXT UK stars have also appeared on NXT 2.0 programming -- with some even making the Orlando-based show their permanent home.

The title win for Jensen and Briggs is a milestone, as it marks the first time the two have held belts within the confines of WWE.
