Becky Lynch was ready to work right after giving birth.
Lynch stepped away from WWE in May 2020, announcing her pregnancy on WWE Raw. She deliver her first baby with fiance Seth Rollins in December 2020 and was already thinking of ideas on how to make her return to television.
"I kept talking to Becky all during her pregnancy and after, she was actually pitching someone jumping her in the maternity ward," Stephanie McMahon said with a laugh on the Bill Simmons podcast. "I guess we could reenact it [laughs]. [Maternity ward match] is coming, the second part of the Women's Evolution."
Stephanie also said in the interview that she "certainly hopes" Lynch will return to WWE and that "you never know" when asked if Lynch would be returning at WrestleMania 37.
Lynch's name has been in plenty of headlines ahead of WrestleMania, with WWE President Nick Khan recently commenting in an interview that Lynch would be returning "at a certain point in time in the not too distant future."
In a feature with Elle, Lynch told the writer she knew she'd be back in wrestling, but wasn't sure when.
As of now, WWE and Lynch have not announced any plans for a return and it is unknown when she will return to television.
