Stephanie McMahon "Suspends" Becky Lynch On WWE Raw; Gets Punched In The Face

The WrestleMania main event is in doubt.

On tonight's episode of Raw, Stephanie McMahon "suspended" Becky Lynch for refusing to see a doctor to get her knee checked out. Lynch suffered a "knee injury" during the Women's Royal Rumble and has been selling the injury ever since. Last Tuesday on SmackDown, Charlotte Flair went after Lynch's bad knee.

Lynch didn't react kindly to Stephanie's announcement and decided she was going to take matters into her own fist.

Ronda Rousey was not happy with Becky refusing medical attention and then attacking Stephanie, calling her actions "unprofessional."

WWE released the following statement on Becky's suspension:

Stephanie McMahon suspended Becky Lynch until The Man has her injured left knee examined and cleared by WWE medical personnel.

On the night she won the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match, which she parlayed into a Raw Women’s Championship opportunity against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania, Lynch sustained a knee injury and has required a brace ever since. When Stephanie pressed the issue tonight on Monday Night Raw, Lynch refused medical attention once again. As McMahon issued a suspension, Lynch attacked the WWE Chief Brand Officer, who seemed to further injure Lynch’s knee in the ensuing brawl.

Becky was escorted out of the arena shortly afterward.

As Fightful Select previously reported, Lynch is healthy and is just selling the angle.
