Stephanie McMahon Wants As Many Women On The WWE Roster As Men

WWE is the most talent rich organization in the world with more superstars than they can fit on television every week. And if Stephanie McMahon has her way, that trend will continue for the next decade.

Speaking to Express Sport, Stephanie revealed that she wants an equal balance between men and women on the roster within the next ten years.

“I would like for there to be just as many women as there are men on the WWE roster and [to have] true equality and parity.”

There are currently 16 female superstars on the WWE Raw roster compared to 38 males superstars SmackDown has 11 female superstars to 33 male superstars. Those numbers include injured workers. The numbers don't change down the WWE hierarchy as males outnumbers females in NXT, NXT UK, and at the Performance Center.

WWE has certainly stepped their female recruitment game up in recent years. Holding an annual all-female tournament in the former of the Mae Young Classic went a long way in adding to the female depth in the company.

WWE will showcase their female talent on Oct. 28 when they hold the first-ever all-women's pay-per-view WWE Evolution.
