Steve Maclin Returns At IMPACT Emergence, Targets Josh Alexander

Steve Maclin is back.

Steve Maclin made his return to IMPACT at IMPACT Emergence, jumping Josh Alexander.

Maclin was eventually pulled off of Alexander by security.

Maclin and Alexander were scheduled to face each other at IMPACT Rebellion, but Alexander was pulled from the bout due to an injury and was forced to relinquish the IMPACT World Title. Maclin went on to defeat KUSHIDA to win the vacant title.

Alexander was teaming with (KUSHIDA, Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) against Moose, Brian Myers, Bully Ray & Lio Rush.

Maclin had been sidelined since the end of June when he suffered a groin tear during the IMPACT Down Under Tour. Maclin had to be pulled from IMPACT Slammiversary due to the injury. He was scheduled to team with Bully Ray against PCO & Scott D'Amore at IMPACT Slammiversary before he was listed as out of the match.

He announced on August 16 that he had been cleared.
