Darby Allin and Sting will challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
On the January 24 episode of AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin & Sting cut a promo in front of the live crowd. Allin brought up the fact that him and Sting are undefeated as a tag team, as they hold a record of 27-0. Allin also made a point to mention that the rankings have returned in AEW before convincing Sting to agree to challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Big Bill and Ricky Starks adressed the duo in a backstage promo and accepted the challenge. Starks noted that Sting will not make it to Revolution after they are finished with him.
Later on in the broadcast, it was confirmed that the match will be taking place on the February 7 episode of AEW Dynamite.
