Violence was the order of the day in the Texas Death Match between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page and they delivered as Strickland pulled off the arguable upset victory and defeated the Hangman in his signature match.
At AEW Full Gear 2023, Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland delivered a classic bloodbath of a match in their Texas Death Match. Barbed wire, cinder blocks, glass, staple guns, and even Hangman's son's finger paintings were all used as weapons in this match.
Even Prince Nana was not safe from the action as he took a Dead Eye through a table. The Mogul Embassy's Brian Cage even came to try and help swerve secure the victory and ended up eating a Discus Elbow with Hangman wrapping his arm in barbed wire.
In the end, Swerve utilized a chain to hang Page, incapacitating him long enough to secure a 10-count and the victory.
