KENTA made a surprise appearance last Wednesday, February 3, on AEW Dynamite, attacking Jon Moxley at the end of the show.
KENTA's appearance led to a tag team match being booked where he would team with Kenny Omega to take on Lance Archer & Moxley. The bout will take place on the February 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.
It was Omega who approached KENTA about the tag team match, though KENTA told him to "shut the fuck up" and walked away. Omega then made the tag team challenge despite KENTA not being into teaming with him.
Tama Tonga believes Omega is just using KENTA for his own benefit.
"KENTA knows the deal. He's a smart man and loyal man. He's there for one reason and one reason only; Moxley. He has something that belongs to KENTA and everyone knows that. That's the only reason he's there. Lenny [Kenny Omega] is going to use KENTA to stay in the spotlight and tag himself with him against Moxley and Lance Archer. Let Lenny go against Lance by himself and leave KENTA and Moxley alone. No, because Lenny is a damn spotlight whore," Tama said on Tama's Island.
The tag team match will take place under Falls Count Anywhere rules.
