Tamina Reveals What She Said To Nia Jax While Pinning Her For WWE Women's Tag Team Titles

After 11 years in WWE, Tamina captured her first major championship on May 14 when she and Natalya defeated Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.

Tamina & Natalya shared the ring many times with Jax & Baszler over the years, leading to plenty of mutual respect between them.

"I love working with Shayna. We have magical chemistry. I love her journey and her passion. Shayna and I knew each other before WWE and I would train with Shayna, Marina, and Jessamyn in LA and that's how I got to know Ronda before WWE and how I trained privately with Ronda. Working with Nia, she's going to kill me because she doesn't want me to reveal she's a big teddy bear on the inside. In the last six months, she's become someone I love working with. She's stepped up so much in a leadership role and I can't tell you how much she gave to me and Tamina, the things she wanted us and the vision she had for us. She's a big part of where we're at today," Natalya told Renee Paquette on Oral Sessions.

Tamina scored the pin Jax to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles, which was a memorable moment for the two and they made sure to let each other know how important it was as the three was counted.

"I grabbed her leg and turned my head, and Vince hates it because he doesn't want you to do that, I turned my head and said, 'Thank you, sis.' She said, 'I love you.' 'I love you back.' Two, three. When you see me crying the way I was crying, I was so grateful to her and Shayna. It was such a struggle this whole time. When people have that passion to keep going, it can come true. I can't thank people enough for the love and support," said Tamina.
