The first semifinalist in the AEW TBS Championship Tournament has been crowned.
Nyla Rose defeated former AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida on the 11/17 edition of AEW Dynamite to advance to the semifinals of the tournament.
Nyla secured her spot in the semifinals after forcing Shida to tap out with the stretch muffler after missing a beach bomb from the top rope, which Shida countered into a triangle choke but the 'Native Beast' was able to transition into a submission of her own to earn the victory.
