A new Ted Turner docuseries is coming soon.
Max announced that a six-part docuseries on Ted Turner will be released on Wednesday, November 13.
In 1980, Turner founded CNN, the first 24-hour cable news channel. He also founded TBS, which became TBS, and owned the Atlanta Braves from 1976 to 2007 when Time Warner sold the team to Liberty Media.
For wrestling fans, Turner is best known for purchasing Jim Crockett Promotions and rebranding it as World Championship Wrestling. WCW went head-to-head with WWE during the Monday Night Wars, and was the top wrestling promotion in America in terms of viewership during the mid-to-late 90s.
