Thunder Rosa promises more violence.
On the August 10th edition of AEW Collision, Thunder Rosa and Deonna Purrazzo once again faced off, this time in a Bullrope match. The match would be a bloody and brutal affair, with Rosa coming away with the victory in the end.
In a digital exclusive posted to AEW's social media platforms, Thunder Rosa spoke about her victory, noting that La Mera Mera is now back.
"I've been pushed and pushed and pushed the whole entire last year because I didn't think that I would be able to do this again. I got so emotional after the match, not only because I felt every single hit, I felt the blood running and making me blind, but I felt like I was alive again. I felt like it was me. I'm back. Thunder Rosa is back. Are you guys entertained? Are you guys entertained? Because I am. And this is not the last time that you're going to see me. You're going to see more. You want to see more violence? You're going to get it. You want to see better wrestling? You're going to get it. What you're not going to see is someone that has mercy or they're going to be allowed anybody to push them over again. Never again, La Mera Mera is back and you can see it on every I'm the winner. I am the winner."
