Toni Storm Admits Mariah May Is The Champion She Always Wanted To Be, 'You Sick Bitch, I'm Proud Of You'

Toni Storm admits that she's proud of Mariah May.

At the AEW Grand Slam: Australia, "Timeless" Toni Storm returns to Australia to try to capture the AEW Women's World Title for a record-setting fourth time from her former protege, Mariah May. May betrayed Storm before defeating her for the championship at AEW All In 2024. Storm then disappeared for nearly half a year and returned using her original gimmick and feining amnesia. Once she had earned the championship against Mariah May in Australia, Storm revealed that it was all a ruse and that she was coming to exact revenge on the woman she once loved.

Renee Paquette asked Toni Storm on Close-Up how she feels about her former understudy's run atop the AEW women's division. Storm candidly stated that she believes Mariah is the champion. She's always wanted to be, and she credited Mariah with being heartless, a quality she could never bring herself to possess.

"Yes. I admit it, she's the champion that I've always wanted to be but never could be, and that's because she does not have a heart. My biggest downfall is that I have too much of a heart, Mariah, you sick bitch. I am proud of you, but she will soon realize that that is just not good enough. "

The segment in which Toni Storm revealed to Mariah May that she'd been her "Timeless" self all along received massive praise from wrestling legends Tony Schiavone and Kevin Nash. Read Tony's comments here.
