On the August 21st episode of AEW Dynamite, Toni Storm defended the AEW Women's World Championship against Saraya. The former stablemates in The Outcasts battled back and forth, and Storm emerged victorious.
After the bell, Storm celebrated her victory, and Mariah May blindsided her. Just as she did when she turned on Storn, May hit her with a shoe. May then hugged Storm before she got up and stood tall over the champion.

May will challenge Storm for the title at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.
