Tony Khan: Dante Martin Is Getting Close To That Big Breakthrough Win On Dynamite

Tony Khan sees big things in the future for Dante Martin.

Recently, All Elite Wrestling has signed some major superstars in CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, and Ruby Soho. However, AEW was built on the idea of being an alternative for the new stars of wrestling to shine. Tony Khan has not lost sight of that.

Joining the likes of CM Punk and Bryan Danielson are such names as Fuego Del Sol and Dante Martin. Dante actually joined the promotion as part of a tag team with his brother, Darius, but since an injury forced Darius to take some time away from the ring, Dante Martin has been going it alone as a solo Superstar and having some very impressive performances.

Speaking on the most recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan would say that he believes Dante is inching close to a big win on AEW Dynamite, believing him to be a breakout television star on the horizon.

"At every level of the card, they're young wrestlers I'm excited about in their development," says Tony Khan of AEW's youth on the horizon. "Dante Martin, at 20 years old, has come in and become to me, a TV breakthrough star waiting to happen, right? I mean, we're just seeing a wrestler get better in front of our very eyes every week. I know he's getting close to that big breakthrough win on Dynamite. He had a great tag match this week with Matt Sydal teaming against FTR. He's had some really tremendous showings lately. [Dante had a] great match with Will Hobbs a few weeks ago. I just think Dante is pretty close to a breakthrough himself. There's a lot of young stars on this roster, and I have some stuff up my sleeve coming soon, too. Something we're always keeping an eye on is trying to find young stars for the future and I think we have a great young roster."
