Tony Khan gives an update on Jade Cargill.
Fans haven't seen Jade Cargill since she lost the AEW TBS Championship to Kris Statlander at AEW Double or Nothing. The loss to Statlander also marked Cargill's first overall loss in AEW.
Speaking at the AEW All Out media scrum, Khan was asked about Jade's status.
"I talked to Jade recently. Hopefully, we'll get Jade back soon. We'll have to stay tuned to when and where Jade might pop up again in the world. Definitely a big fan of Jade, she put together one of the most dominant runs ever and was stopped by Kris Statlander," said Khan, who praised Statlander for her victory over Ruby Soho at AEW All Out.
Statlander, who was returning from an ACL injury, defeated Cargill moments after Cargill picked up a victory over Taya Valkyrie.
Statlander said about Cargill's potential return, "As I've said before, I'm willing to prove that my win over her was not a fluke. I know there was the controversy of the second match, 'did she really put out the challenge.' Whenever she is ready, I'm accepting any challenge from anyone, especially her, and I will prove that my win is my win and I truly am the TBS Champion."
It is unknown when Cargill will return to AEW.
