Tony Khan comments on Jack Perry's status NJPW.
Fans haven't seen Jack Perry on AEW television since AEW All In when he lost the FTW Championship to HOOK and was subsequently suspended from the promotion for his involvement in a backstage altercation with CM Punk.
Perry showed up at NJPW Battle in the Valley in January, ripping up his AEW contract and dubbing himself as the Scapegoat.
Speaking to Liam Crowley of ComicBook, Tony Khan was asked if he's been following Perry's work in NJPW.
"I think you have to stay tuned. Absolutely, Jack is doing great things in New Japan. The New Japan Cup, he's had a great run. He established himself over there, he feels he's the scapegoat. He's doing great things, he's wrestling for a great promotion, and it's been great tracking Jack's progress in New Japan and he's done excellent work there," he said.
Perry has aligned himself with House or Torture in NJPW and competed in the New Japan Cup.
Perry is set to compete at NJPW Windy City Riot in April.
