Tony Khan reveals an updated take on his Mount Rushmore of professional wrestlers.
Tony Khan is the president of AEW and an avid wrestling fan who loves the sport's history. Like many wrestling fans, Khan has his personal Mount Rushmore of professional wrestlers. While he has offered his take on the subject and past, he was recently interviewed by Sports Illustrated and has now placed Sting on his Mount Rushmore.
This differs from his September 2023 list as Sting has now replaced Ricky Steamboat, alongside Bret Hart, Steve Austin, and Ric Flair as Tony Khan's core four pro wrestlers.
"I would say the undefeated AEW World [Tag Team] Champion who retired last year at Revolution, Sting, Ric Flair, Steve Austin, and Bret Hart."
Tony Khan also stated that he would choose Sting to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated to promote AEW.
Tony Khan recently invited Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers to this year's AEW Revolution.
