Tony Khan says Wardlow is still part of what AEW is doing.
Three-time TNT Champion Wardlow has been one of the top stars in AEW at different points throughout his time with the company. However, he has been absent from TV in recent months. Wardlow last wrestled on the June 17 episode of AEW Collision, where he lost the TNT Championship to Luchasaurus.
During the AEW WrestleDream media call, Tony Khan was asked about Wardlow's status. He stated that he was sure Wardlow will be back on TV when the time is right.
"Wardlow is a great star for us. He’s been one of the greatest TNT Champions and a great star. I’m a very big fan of Wardlow and he will surely be back on AEW TV when the time is right and he’s still very much a part of what we’re doing here," Khan said.
It is not known when Wardlow will return to AEW TV. Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
