Top Dolla has never been shy about putting over his ability on the mic, believing his promo skills are what helps separate him from others in WWE.
Alongside Ashante "Thee" Adonis and B-Fab, Top Dolla is part of Hit Row, a hip hop act who have done live performances on WWE television.
Though he is a former NFL player, Top Dolla always saw himself in WWE and credit The Rock and John Cena with being an inspiration.
"The Rock is the reason that I'm a wrestler. I grew up a huge fan of The Rock. Without him, I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing today. He made me care. He was the guy. To this day, I'm still a huge fan of his, even though I've met him. I'm still a huge fan of his. The Rock, definitely, is the guy who had a big impact on me. As well as John Cena. When he came back a few months ago, we sat down and had a conversation in his dressing room. He just gave me some free game because we're doing our hip-hop characters and he was the most successful hip-hop character in wrestling history. Being able to take free game from him about how to do it and do it the right way, it was huge. He was so good at and that's what made him a megstar," Top Dolla said on the AP Football Podcast.
Cena was part of the December 30, 2022 episode of WWE SmackDown, which also featured Top Dolla.
Cena is set to face Austin Theory for the WWE United States Championship at WrestleMania 39. Top Dolla does not currently have a match. Fans can check out the lineup for WWE WrestleMania 39 by clicking here.
