Masters Of Ring Entertainment Announces Virtual Workshop for Pro Wrestlers
The company presents the first ever two-day virtual event to support independent wrestlers, featuring Bambi Weavil and Victoria Crawford.Masters Of Ring Entertainment will host a new virtual event to support independent professional wrestlers. The Masters Of The Ring Accelerator is scheduled for September 9-10, 2024, and is designed to help wrestlers enhance their careers through practical advice and industry insights.
The workshop will be led by Bambi Weavil, the Founder of Masters Of Ring Entertainment, and Victoria Crawford, a former WWE performer known as Alicia Fox. Although the event is free to attend, prospective participants must go through an interview process to secure a place.
"We're excited to bring the first virtual event of its kind to pro wrestling to help strengthen the community of independent pro wrestling. Our goal is to help pro wrestlers learn more about developing their personal brand to achieve more booking opportunities and advance their careers through the Masters Of The Ring Accelerator," Weavil said.
Bambi Weavil, who has a background in marketing sales, and event production, founded Masters Of Ring Entertainment to support and promote the independent wrestling community. Her previous experience includes working with various wrestling media outlets and managing talent, fan relations, and as a successful pro wrestling promoter which has shaped her understanding of the industry's needs.
Victoria Crawford, who wrestles under the name VIX CROW on the independent circuit, began her career in WWE, where she achieved significant milestones, including winning the WWE Divas Championship in 2010. Her career has also included appearances in various wrestling promotions and media engagements, offering a broad perspective on both the mainstream and independent wrestling scenes. Crawford will share her experiences from her WWE career and recent activities on the independent pro wrestling scene worldwide in the workshop. Her notable achievements include being the first African American woman winning the WWE Divas Championship in 2010.
In today's rapidly evolving wrestling landscape, where independent promotions and digital platforms have become more prominent, developing a strong personal brand and effective social media presence is crucial. The virtual workshop offers timely support for pro wrestlers navigating these changes, providing them with relevant tools and strategies to stand out in a competitive environment.
The workshop will cover two main areas. On the first day, the focus will be on building a personal brand and leveraging social media to attract opportunities and engage with fans. The session will include perspectives from experienced professionals, Weavil and Crawford, in the industry.
The second day will address goal setting and the formation of a supportive team. Participants will learn how to set career milestones and develop networks that can aid in their professional growth.
Masters Of Ring Entertainment aims to provide a practical learning environment where attendees can gain useful tools and strategies for their wrestling careers as well as creating community and reshaping the independent wrestling culture. The event is intended to offer clear and actionable advice to wrestlers at various stages of their professional journey with the option to continue working with Masters Of The Ring Accelerator after the 2-day event has concluded.
