A tournament announced.
This past Tuesday on SmackDown Live the New Day defeated The Bludgeon Brothers to become five-time WWE Tag Team Champions. The victory was New Day's third time becoming SmackDown Tag Team Champions and after only five days back on top of the mountain, the next challengers to New Day's titles will soon be determined.
The SmackDown Live GM Paige took to Twitter to announce that starting this Tuesday there will be two Triple-Threat tag team matches. The winners of those respective matches will face one another the following week on SmackDown Live and whomever emerges victorious in that bout will go on to 'Hell In A Cell' on September 16th to challenge the New Day for their SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships. Paige did state that the first Triple-Threat tag team matchup will be Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson versus Sheamus and Cesaro versus Primo and Epico.
PWInsider reports that The Usos, Sanity, and Rusev Day will take part in the other triple threat match, slated for next week.
