Fightful has confirmed that Trey Baxter, the former Blake Christian, has been released by WWE as of Thursday, November 4, 2021. Most recently, Baxter was on NXT 2.0 in a pairing with his real-life girlfriend, Cora Jade.

Prior to his days in WWE, he was a budding star on the independent circuit. Wrestling for promotions like GCW, Christian made a name for himself along with stars like Alex Zayne, the former Ari Sterling in WWE who was released earlier this year.
Just hours after his release, GCW has already announced Blake Christian's return for December 2021.
