Trey Baxter has arrived in NXT.
Trey Baxter, known as Blake Christian on the Independent scene, made his NXT debut on Tuesday by answering Kushda's NXT Cruiserweight Title open challenge. Despite a strong showing, one that impressed Kyle O'Reilly, Baxter was defeated by Kushida, who locked in the hoverboard lock to retain his NXT Cruiserweight Championship.
Christian has previously wrestled for PWG, GCW, and NJPW. He was part of the February recruiting class at the WWE Performance Center.

Baxter isn't the first man to make his NXT debut by answering Kushida's NXT Cruiserweight Title open challenge as Carmelo Hayes, formerly Christian Casanova, made his debut on the brand on June 1. Like Baxter, he was defeated by Kushida.
