"Prince Pretty" is in NXT to stay for the time being.
"Prince Pretty" Tyler Breeze has sporadically appeared in NXT over the past year and a half. He competed at NXT live events against former NXT North American Champion Ricochet and this Saturday at TakeOver XXV, Breeze will have the opportunity to capture his first title in WWE when he challenges Velveteen Dream for the North American Title. Breeze made his return to the black-and-yellow brand earlier this month and NXT founder and senior producer Triple H confirmed during the pre-TakeOver media call that Breeze is a member of the NXT roster right now and is thrilled to have him back in Florida and added that Breeze is one of the best in the world.
“For me, Tyler Breeze is in NXT right now. I’m thrilled to have him here. I think he’s one of the greatest talents out there and thrilled to have him back…. And [in] some way they’ve talked about it in the show but the Velveteen Dream sort of being the today version of Tyler Breeze, just a different version of that in a way." He continued, "This match to me is one that has all the markings of being the sleeper that steals the show because of the styles, because of who they are, because of the characters of both guys. I think they have an opportunity to tell a story in very unique way and like I said, they both wanna prove something here, so, this should be interesting.”
