WWE returned to Toronto for WWE Elimination Chamber with the event taking place at the Rogers Center.
The Rogers Center previously hosted WrestleMania 6 and WrestleMania 18.
At the post-show press conference, Triple H was asked if Toronto was on the list for a future WrestleMania.
"All markets are. That is a different animal now that includes a bidding process and everything that goes into it because it is such a massive business. Hundreds of millions of dollars get poured into the city that brings WrestleMania. The economic impact that we have going into a city with something the scale of WrestleMania is incredible. Any place that has a vibrant fanbase and has a building like the Rogers Center that we can go into and pack it with a lot of people and get them there from all over the globe, it’s definitely on the list," said Triple H.
Triple H announced that WWE Elimination Chamber was the largest gate ever for a WWE event in Canada.
