Tully Blanchard comments on Brian Cage.

Brian Cage debuted for All Elite Wrestling at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view in 2020, making the jump from IMPACT Wrestling. Since debuting for the company, Cage has held the FTW Championship and competed in a number of high profile matches against the likes of Adam Page, Darby Allin, and Bryan Danielson.

While speaking to Wrestling Shoot Interviews for a recent chat, Tully Blanchard, a former co-worker of Cage, said that he has great potential, but that the company has to do the right stuff with him at the right time.

"Brian has got great potential, but you’ve got to do the right stuff at the right time."

When asked what department that Cage is lacking in, Blanchard recalled giving advice to 'The Machine'.

"This is probably not the setting to do that, but he and I talked, and the advice that I gave him was, ‘You need to be a killer.’ I said, ‘You look like a killer. You need to be a killer.’"

Elsewhere in the interview, Tully Blanchard said that nobody came to him or Arn Anderson for advice in AEW. Fans can learn more here.

In January 2023, Blanchard confirmed that he is no longer with All Elite Wrestling. Meanwhile, Cage re-signed with the company earlier this year.
