Tyson Fury wants to be part of the WWE festivities this summer in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
Drew McIntyre and Tyson Fury have been going back and forth verbally with one another since Drew McIntyre capture the WWE Championship back in 2020. one of Drew McIntyre’s goals, when he became WWE Champion, was to have a major WWE pay-per-view emanate from a stadium in the United Kingdom. The last time that happened was thirty years ago for the 1992 SummerSlam event in London, England which was held at Wembley Stadium.
Now, even though Drew McIntyre is no longer WWE Champion, WWE is headed to principality stadium in Cardiff, Wales for a major event in September of 2022 and Tyson Fury would like to fight at this event and even wants to stop at SummerSlam this year to hopefully set something up.
"Don't rule me out of fighting there," Fury said to the media in a post-fight scrum. "You might see me at SummerSlam coming up soon. I got to speak to Vince and the boys, maybe make this happen. I know this Drew McIntyre has been saying a lot of things about me. I have to knock him out. I'd love to be at Cardiff. I'd love to be back in the center stage in the UK, especially for the wrestling. I enjoyed it last time in Saudi Arabia. It was fantastic. So to come here and do it would be phenomenal, and we're gonna we're definitely gonna make a bit of contact and see can we make that Summer Slam thing a reality."

Drew McIntyre most recently said that the ball was in Tyson’s court as far as whether or not the match would take place and it was simply a matter of getting through the most recent fight against Dillian White and now that the fight is in the rearview mirror, Tyson Fury can focus on whatever he wants his next venture to be.
SummerSlam will take place for the first time ever in July this year and it will emanate from Drew McIntyre’s American home of Nashville, Tennessee. Drew McIntyre spoke about why that's important to him and that he would love to be played to the ring by Willie Nelson, preferably doing a rendition of his old “Broken Dreams” theme song.
