Undertaker comments on what other WWE legends deserve the John Cena retirement tour treatment.
John Cena will spend all of 2025 dedicated to WWE and his retirement from professional wrestling. This retirement door is different from others in WWE's past, as it's less centered around one final match and more about giving John Cena the opportunity to say goodbye to the people and places that have helped elevate him to superstardom.
Unfortunately, The Undertaker, after 30 years of dedication to WWE, had to retire in front of screens in the ThunderDome during the global COVID pandemic in 2020. Still, he supports John Cena's decision to hang up his jorts, and now, he's giving his opinion on other performers who deserve the same level of farewell from WWE.
Speaking with Shakiel Mahjouri, Undertaker named Paul Heyman, CM Punk, and Randy Orton are three other names that befit such a celebration.
"I would say Punk would probably be one of those. I don't know how long Heyman plans on hanging around, but, I mean, he has done enough for enough talent that I think he should be in there. I mean, I don't know who else is out there that may be retiring anytime soon," he said. "If Randy wraps it up, Randy definitely deserves that. I mean, he's had a pretty storied career, and I'd like to see guys like that -- you definitely want to see them get their get their flowers and say their goodbyes."
CM Punk and John Cena will next square off in the WWE Elimination Chamber as they fight for the right to challenge Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41, Cena's final WrestleMania as a wrestler.
Undertaker recently praised Jacob Fatu as a name to watch out for in the future. Read his comments here.
