Undertaker Still Felt Young And Indestructible During TLC Match Against Edge At WWE One Night Stand

Undertaker, even when he was nearly 20 years into his career, believed he was still indestructible when taking bumps off the top of the ladder through a stack of tables.

Undertaker recently spoke with D-Von Dudley for a retrospective video where "The Phenom" breaks down some of his most harrowing bumps throughout his WWE career. One of those bumps was the match-ending spill off a ladder and through four tables during his TLC Match with Edge at WWE One Night Stand 2008.

Joe Hendry: I Feel Like I’m The Most Improved Wrestler In The World Over The Last Year

Undertaker, who was 43 at the time of the match taking place, said he always felt relatively good even after a bump like that as long as everything was still in working order. At that time, he still felt young and invincible.

"This was against Edge, and I have to hit this table. That one was a little hairy because you just never know with the ladders if they're going to slip. They're unpredictable and the tables, because of the angle, you're coming straight down so you you kind of slide off of it. We got a pretty good break there," he recalled. "Yeah, those are always a little hairy. But, I mean, at this point, I feel like I'm still relatively young, and you can't hurt me at this point."

He continued, "It wasn't great, but it wasn't, by no means, was it the worst bump I ever took. Again, I feel like, at this point, I'm still young and indestructible, and everything is in one place. Anytime you see me laying like that after that kind of a big bump, I'm assessing how I feel. I was like, 'Does everything move? Everything good?' Every time I take a bump like that, I marked that one off. I'm not doing this again. This one is off the list."
