The Major Pod Network pulled off a major win inside the Hammerstein Ballroom, but a post-match beatdown was prevented by a two-time WWE Hall of Famer.
The match between Matt Cardona and Joey Janela at The WRLD on GCW was filled with about as much shenanigans and chicanery as one could imagine. Smart Mark Sterling came out and waved out “Vince” Vince McMahon's theme song played and Virgil came out under a Vince McMahon mask to distract Joey Janela.
Hornswoggle came out to further distract Joey Janela but was stopped by Sam Stackhouse, Marko Stunt and Chelsea Green also got physical but in the end, it came down to the Ultimate Edge callback by the former Edgeheads.
Brian Myers, much like Edge at One Night Stand in 2006, came out in a trenchcoat and completely covered by a helmet and speared Joey Janela through a door allowing the former Zack Ryder to hit the Radio Silence, formerly known as the Rough Ryder comment through another door scoring the victory.
