Vince McMahon turned 77 on August 24 and he spent his birthday with John Cena in New York City.
TMZ reports McMahon went to Waverly Inn restaurant in NYC for his birthday and was joined by Cena and his wife Shay Shariatzadeh.
Footage from the outing shows McMahon trying to hide his face as he enters his vehicle. A female is close behind him.
This marks McMahon's first public appearance since he announced he was retiring as WWE CEO on July 22. His retirement came amid the WWE Board investigating him over alleged sexual misconduct and hush money.
Cena's last WWE TV appearance came on June 20 where he was introduced by McMahon as part of his 20th Anniversary Celebration. Cena recently said that McMahon would be the lone figure on his wrestling Mount Rushmore.
Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan were named Co-CEOs following Vince's retirement while Triple H assumed all creative duties.
