In 1999, Sable filed a $110 million lawsuit against the WWE, citing allegations of sexual harassment and unsafe working conditions.

Asked if he remembered the allegations, Vince replied, "No, I don't. It's kind of a blur. All I know is she came back to work, so...."
Sable returned to the company in 2003, and had an on-screen affair with Vince.
When his character's on-screen affair was mentioned to Vince on "Mr. McMahon," replied, "With who?" Clarifying that the on-screen affair was with Sable, McMahon said, "Me? [Laughs]. God."
In 2001, McMahon admitted in an interview with Playboy that he had multiple affairs. Asked if the storylines that came up incorporated elements from his life, Vince said they were "totally unrelated."
