The Von Erich Dynasty proudly adds some new gold.
At tonight's inaugural MLW pay-per-view, Saturday Night SuperFight, Ross and Marshall Von Erich defeated Richard Holliday and MJF to win the MLW World Tag Team Championships.
They won the belts in the Von Erich's signature match, a Texas Tornado Tag Team Match, when MJF was pinned off of a Von Erich Claw/Back Suplex combo.
Moving forward, MJF has other commitments with AEW including next Saturday's Full Gear pay-per-view in Baltimore, Maryland which will be occurring at the same time as MLW's next television tapings in Orlando, Florida. The audience in attendance harassed MJF about his AEW happenings chanting "Cody's bitch" at the protege of the All Elite Wrestling VP.
Fightful‘s Jeremy Lambert recently spoke to Richard Holliday, who proclaimed he wasn’t worried about the focus of MJF. You can check out that interview here.
