The Von Erichs name their dream opponents.
The Von Erichs (Marshall and Ross Von Erich) are having a breakout run in AEW/ROH. At AEW Battle of the Belts XI, The Von Erichs and Dustin Rhodes beat The Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Mike Bennett, and Matt Taven) to win the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship.
Speaking on The Von Erich Podcast, The Von Erichs were asked to name their dream trios opponents in AEW, and a viewer noted that they wanted to see Marshall, Ross, and Rhodes face Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, and Claudio Castagnoli of the Blackpool Combat Club.
Marshall Von Erich: That’s crazy you said that because that was gonna be my answer. That’s crazy. [Also], we’re becoming better and better friends with Mark Briscoe. I like that guy so much. I’d love to do anything with him again. He’s just awesome. Having Dustin, man, we’re getting really close to Dustin. There’s so many similarities of just the come-up, growing up with a father [in wrestling] like that. Dustin’s so cool. He deserves to be lifted up right now.
Ross Von Erich: He deserves his flowers for all he’s done.
MVE: The guy he is in the locker room with the younger wrestlers, that’s mostly what I’m talking about.
