Wardlow only dreams of wrestling the best.
Wardlow is on the rise in All Elite Wrestling. During his short time, he has been fortunate enough to wrestle the likes of CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Chris Jericho. With many more years ahead of him, Wardlow is now looking at some dream matches he could have down the line.
In the past, he has openly stated that he wants to wrestle alongside Matt and Jeff Hardy but now, Wardlow is talking about some singles dream matches.
Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, Wardlow revealed that among WWE and AEW's roster Kenny Omega is the one top name in AEW that he really considers a dream opponent.
“Unfortunately, my career started much later than I anticipated," Wardlow began. "So, I feel like I missed my opportunities with what I would consider real dream opponents. I think it has kind of passed most of my dream opponents’ times,” he admitted. "The one that still exists, actually the top one is still in AEW, that being Kenny Omega. He’s kind of like my ultimate dream opponent, ” Wardlow revealed.
Outside of AEW, Wardlow wants to test himself against Brock Lesnar, feeling that a match between the two of them would be an easy way to print money.
"I think if I ever found myself in the same ring as Brock Lesnar, I think that has money just pouring out of the idea of it. I think him and I would just murder each other. I don't know if there's a ring that could hold the two of us," Wardlow said. "Yeah, but beyond [Kenny and Brock], not necessarily any real dream opponents, I just want to work with the best. I just, I just want to be challenged. I want whoever thinks they're the best in the world. That's who I want to wrestle," Wardlow concluded.
