Will Ospreay praises Nick Wayne.

Wayne has become one of the breakout competitors on the independent scene, and he's not even 18 years old. He has wrestled for GCW, DEFY, and many other promotions, and he recently won the DEFY World Championship. Wayne signed a deal with AEW in 2022, but he won't start working for the company until he turns 18 in July 2023. Ospreay is widely regarded as one of the best wrestlers in the world, and the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion is one of NJPW's top stars. He previously faced Wayne at GCW I Never Liked You in June 2022.

Speaking with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Ospreay shared his thoughts on Wayne and stated that he has high hopes for him. He offered the young star advice by noting the importance of evolving as a competitor. Ospreay also stated that he has an eye for talent, and he's rarely wrong.

“I have high hopes for him. My 1 piece of advice would be. Don’t be scared to evolve & to his critics, allow him to be a young man in wrestling, let him grow, find himself. I have a eye for these guys & I'm hardly wrong about this," Ospreay said.
