Will Ospreay Wants To Embarrass Vader

Will Ospreay's career has been eventful in 2016. He won the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors tournament, his match against Ricochet is one of the most talked about matches of the year, and he's in a real-life feud with former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Vader.

While he was in England for WhatCulture Pro Wrestling's tapings, Ospreay recently talked to The Tag Rope, speaking very openly about Vader. Vader went on Twitter to voice extreme displeasure at Ospreay for his match against Ricochet, who compared it to "a gymnastics routine."

Revolution Pro announced that Ospreay will face Vader at Uprising 2016 on August 12th at York Hall in Bethnal Green, London, England. Ospreay said that he will hold anything back when he faces him in the ring soon.

"I've got such a problem with the guy because he's directed so much abuse at me, and the fact is now that he's been called out about it, he's saying, "Oh, Will could be good, Will Ospreay could be this'. And it's like, 'No mate, you got caught out because everyone's battering you,'" Ospreay said. "Here's what's going to happen. I am going to fuck Vader up big-time. It's not even going to be a wrestling match; it's going to be a fight. And I am going to embarrass him, I am going to outflip him, I am going to do everything that pisses him off and going to show everybody why wrestling has evolved, and the evolution starts with me."

Ospreay was recently offered a contract to work for EVOLVE by Paul Heyman back in July. The New Japan and EVOLVE star said that he's thinking about his career, hoping to stay relevant with an abundant array of wrestlers from all over the world gunning for the same opportunities Ospreay is fighting for.

"It's a very selfish thing I'm about to say, but I need to think about me. And not just the brand of Will Ospreay. I've had other offers come in and I'm just trying swim in an ocean full of talent and trying to stay relevant and trying to keep doing what I do. It's been an incredible journey and I want to keep it going, I want to help out, I want to do more things."
