World Of Sport Wrestling Announces That They Are Set To Be The Highest-Rated British Wrestling TV Show In Over 30 Years

Some big news for World Of Sport.

Last night the wrestling program World Of Sport aired on ITV on televisions across the United Kingdom. The program relaunched in 2016 when they partnered up with IMPACT Wrestling and presented a one-off special episode. One year later it was announced that yet another season of World Of Sport was set to be taped but those tapings were cancelled and rescheduled for this year.

The tapings for this season commenced this past May and the first episode aired on ITV on Saturday and the show closed with a bang as Rampage Brown defeated Grado to become the new 'World Of Sport' Champion.

The "Aerial Assassin"--former two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay was in action and at the commentary desk for this season's tapings were SoCal Val and Alex Shane.

Former 5-time WWE Intercontinental Champion Stu Bennett is the on-screen GM of World Of Sport and he sent out a tweet following the show explaining why the female athletes of World Of Sport were not featured on the first episode. Bennett noted that there was so much content to get out there that there was not enough time to get everyone on the show but on episode two which airs next Saturday the female competitors will be given their chance to shine.

Other than the praise on social media, W.O.S. received more good news as they were informed that they were on pace to become the highest rated British Wrestling TV show in over 30 years.
