Randy Orton is getting checked out.
At WWE King and Queen of the Ring, Gunther defeated Randy Orton in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament. In the controversial conclusion, Gunther pinned Orton, but one of his shoulders was not down. Gunther scored the pin when Orton screamed in pain and grabbed his knee after a kick-out by the former WWE Intercontinental Champion. Gunther has targeted Orton's knee throughout the bout, and it was clearly bothering him.
On the May 31 episode of WWE SmackDown, the broadcast team noted that Orton was getting his knee evaluated, and they would provide more information as it becomes available. Later in the show, Kevin Owens stated that Orton was at home recuperating. Owens then got into a heated conversation with Paul Heyman about his feud with The Bloodline, which also involved Orton.
Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
