The name of a classic WWE pay-per-view event is being resurrected in 2024.
The WWE Bad Blood event has not been on the WWE calendar since 2004. However, two decades later, that will change as WWE announced that Bad Blood 2024 will emanate from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta on October 5. Triple H announced the event via a post on X. Cody Rhodes and Metro Boomin also announced the event in the announcement posted to X.
Tickets will go on sale for the event on July 19.
This October, prepare to witness the return of an absolute classic.

October 5 is the 27th anniversary of when WWE first utilized the Bad Blood name. "WWE In Your House: Badd Blood" took place on October 5, 1997, and was the debut of the Hell in a Cell structure and the Kane character. A Hell in a Cell match has headlined all three Bad Blood events in the past.
In 1997, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker introduced Hell in a Cell. In June 2003, the event became the first exclusive WWE Raw-branded pay-per-view. On that night, Triple H defended the World Heavyweight Championship inside Hell in a Cell against Kevin Nash. Mick Foley was the guest referee for that bout.
Then, in June 2004, Triple H and Shawn Michaels wrestled for over half an hour in their feud-ending Hell in a Cell match.
WWE also created a dedicated WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view in 2009. Of the 14 Hell in a Cell pay-per-view events, 12 of them took place in October
It is unknown whether the match will return to the WWE Bad Blood PLE this year. Fans can keep up with future updates to the card at this link.
