WWE issues statement on Wednesday Night War.
WWE put out a statement, congratulating AEW on their premiere of Dynamite on TNT on Wednesday. The show went head-to-head with NXT on USA.
"Congratulations to AEW on a successful premiere. The real winners of last night's head-to-head telecasts of NXT on USA Network and AEW on TNT are the fans, who can expect Wednesday nights to be a competitive and wild ride as this is a marathon, not a one-night sprint."
The full viewership and rating numbers won't be out until shortly after 4 p.m. ET but Ryan Glasspiegel of The Big Lead is reporting the overnight ratings from Nielsen puts AEW at a 0.7 and NXT at 0.5.

According to overnight ratings from Nielsen, @AEWrestling did a 0.7 and @WWENXT did a 0.5. Will be interesting to see how that translates to viewership.
