Edge & Beth Phoenix defeated Rhea Ripley & Finn Balor at WWE Elimination Chamber, extracting a measure of revenge on their Judgment Day rivals.
The finish saw Edge & Phoenix hit the Shatter Machine on Balor for the victory. Edge had just leveled Balor with a spear before the Shatter Machine while Beth wiped out Ripley on the floor with a Glam Slam.

The rivalry between Edge and Judgment Day began when Balor joined the group and immediately turned on Edge on the June 6, 2022 episode of WWE Raw. Balor took control of Judgment Day alongside Ripley and Damian Priest. The group eventually added Dominik Mysterio.
Balor defeated Edge in an "I Quit" match at WWE Extreme Rules 2022 with Judgment Day threatening to conchairto Beth if Edge didn't quit. Edge quit, Beth was still hit with the conchairto. Edge and Beth returned at WWE Royal Rumble to continue the feud between the two sides.
