WWE files trademarks related to new names for acts on the SmackDown brand.
On May 19, 2022, WWE submitted two applications with the USPTO to trademark "Brutal Brutes" and "Max Dupri."
Max Dupri is the new name for LA Knight, formerly known as Eli Drake. He will be managing Maximum Male Models. The Brawling Brutes is the name for the triumvirate of Butch, Ridge Holland, and Sheamus, but "Brutal Brutes" is the latest alternate name trademarked. WWE also owns the trademark for "Bloody Brutes"
